Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell was born on December 17, 1969 in Santa Barbara, California.  Chuck began his UFC career in 1998 with a victory over Noe Hernandez.  After many devastating knockouts and a couple of tough losses, Chuck defeated Randy Couture for the UFC light heavyweight championshipin 2005.  Liddell would retain his belt for two years with victories over Jeremy Horn and Tito Ortiz, as well as a rematch victory over Couture.  In 2007 however, Chuck Liddell lost two fights in a row for the first time in his mixed martial arts career, including a title fight against Quentin Jackson.  While Chuck may be on the downside of his career, his knockouts and takedown defenses were a pleasure to watch over the years.

Chuck really made a statement with his destruction of Silva at UFC 79 and it will be interesting to see who he picks for his next fight.
